About me
Octavia wanted to become a doula because of her incredibly big heart. From a young age, she was deeply attached to her grandmother and always wanted to help. In her family, she is one of the youngest grandchildren, but most family members say she is the best listener. “I always told my pediatrician that no matter what my career might be, I want to always help people.” She continues to devote her integrity and care to improving equitable care for mothers, families, and babies.
Octavia is committed to continuing education, with a focus on expanding emotional support for mothers and infant feeding. In her philosophy of care, she combines the art of nursing with intuitive knowledge, guided by kindness and empathy.
Octavia has answered her calling as an eighth-generation healer to lead, heal, and care with her heart's intention. She continues to dedicate her career to healing not only herself but also those who come into contact with her.

My Qualifications
Toronto Metropolitan University
Octavia is a nursing graduate from Ryerson University (Toronto Metropolitan University) from the Collaborative Nursing Program. She graduated Spring 2022 and continues to work diligently maintain safe practice guidelines as a Registered Nurse in Ontario and in Arizona, USA.
DONA International
Octavia is formally trained with DONA International as a Postpartum Doula. She carries a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP). Octavia continues to maintain and adhere to safe practice guidelines of regarding renewals of these certifications.

Octavia is a Registered Nurse in Ontario and Arizona Board of Nursing. In Ontario, Registered Nurses in community are covered by specific insurances including: Manulife and Sunlife Insurance. Insurances in the State of Arizona are pending.

Service prices vary depending on the needs of the family and baby. Book a consultation with Octavia to better plan your care. Online consultations are $25, in person consultations and $70.

Octavia has continued competency to provide compassionate and gender-bias care to LGBTQ+ families. Octavia has been trained under Sabia Wade, CEO of Birth Advocacy Trainings in the State of Georgia.
